I thought Classic Empire was the best of the rest, with the rough start and wide rally.

Looking At Lee got the dream “Mine that Bird” trip.  He painted the rail all the way around.   Gormley loomed at the top of the stretch but then flattened out, as he was wide all the way around.  Haven’t seen the Trakus data yet, but I am curious to.

Battle of Midway ran a respectable race.  He was one of my last throwouts, as you can’t use everybody (can you ??)

Saw a prop before the race, will there be a Triple Crown winner at 9-1  . . .  feeling remorseful now !   Pletcher has a lightly raced horse coming back who looks like the Belmont distance would not be a compromise.

Didn’t cash with the published plays, unfortunately.  Got some money back on the Woodford-Derby double when the track looked like it would play to speed.  Back to the salt mines  . . .
