Spending some time with the family over the holidays, (perhaps a few too many given the weather and travel schedule!), but before the weather got too bad had a chance to try out one of the “Best Burgers in Maine” as recommended by DownEast Magazine, crushing this twin burger basket at Bob’s Clam Hut on the way north.

Solid all-American fare, like an old time diner burger. Been to Bob’s many times in my travels but almost always went for clams, shrimp, or the lobster roll. Sure beats stopping for fast food on the drive! Burgers were not to big or too small, probably 3 oz each, with a slightly egg-y roll, and excellent coleslaw to boot. Definitely good if you wanna fill up. But if I stop on the way out, I’m not missing out on the clams !
