Was the bridesmaid twice yesterday as Restoring Hope and Hope Wins both ran non-threatening thirds. They will stay on watch. Classy Atlantic and (Warren G’s ?) Regulate climb on to the lists with solid performances in those two maiden races. Kathy’s Song ran a nice ground-saving third as anticipated, but Madame Dancelot’s tremendous late kick blew us out of the trifecta as New Money Honey came up short at the end of a long year of racing. I anticipated better from her with the scratch of Rymska.

ONE FOR TODAY — Secreto Primero in the first at Santa Anita down the hill. Was hemmed in at the top of the stretch in last before getting out and rallying late. A better trip should get it done today.
